What People Are Saying

I met Rev K at a Tom Jackson music workshop.  Tom Jackson is a Nashville based performer coach who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and the Band Perry.  Rev K showed me that week-end that he was already a seasoned blues performer with a relaxed, easy style that leaves you wanting more.

As the director of the upcoming local theatrical production, Lost Highway: The Hank Williams Story, I knew that Rev K would be perfect for the role Tee-Tot, the blues street musician that taught Hank how to play the blues.  Rev K brought his diverse talents to the role playing his acoustic, and resophonic steel guitars, harmonica, and singing on numerous numbers.  He gave the audience an authentic blues performance that left them wondering if they were in Wetaskiwin, or down on the Mississippi delta.

Rev K is about to release an original EP (Nov. 2014). If you are a fan of original blues music with a classic sound, check out Rev K.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kerry (Rev K) several times during our annual Jaywalkers Jamboree event and our annual Canada Day celebrations. Kerry has always been awesome to work with. He is dependable, pleasant and very humble. Kerry speaks from the heart when he plays and is down-to-earth. His style of music speaks to the soul. I look forward to working with Kerry during upcoming events.
